Description: The head coach is responsible for planning, managing and directing the high school Archery Club team program. Specific shall include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Coaching the Archery Club team.
• Directing and supervising volunteer coaching staff
• Managing all aspects of the program including practicing, competing and providing off-season improvement opportunities.
• Marketing and promoting the Archery program.
• Coaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletes
• Scouting opponents.
• Managing a fiscally sound budget
• Monitoring class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate.
• Responsible for Archery student-athlete retention
• Articulation with the feeder middle school program
• Providing summer camp opportunities for elementary and/or middle school students
